My main responsibilities were:
1. Composing concepts of children book (storybook, comic, educational cartoon, picture book, etc) to be brought into life by editorial team.
2. Finding the proper writers for each concept.
3. Working together with design and illustration team to create appealing visual look for each book.
4. Together with editor-in-chief arranging the publication date of our books.
5. Together with marketing department thinking about the promotion strategies of our books.
6. Compiling editorial style guides.

March 2010– Present:
Editor at Translated Non-fiction Book Division
MIC Publishing, Surabaya, Indonesia

My main responsibilities were:
1. Corresponding with foreign agencies and hunting for the translation license of best-selling and inspiring titles out there.
2. Negotiating the advance fee and royalties and handling the administrative works.
3. Developing and supporting the network of freelance translators and editors.
4. Finding the proper translator for each book, then evaluating and refining the translations.
5. Working together with design team to create appealing interior layout and cover for each book.
6. Together with director of MIC Publishing arranging the schedule of books’ publication.
7. Compiling glossaries and editorial style guides.
8. Writing commercial materials of each book to support the marketing team.
9. Finding suitable independent book reviewers to check selected books.
10. Developing ideas to foster the book selling, find new niches and improve editorial efficiency.

March 2010– Present: Independent Translator & Editor
This is my freelance business in English-Indonesian language translation. Within these years, I have translated and editing 55 fiction and nonfiction books (fantasy, young-adult, romance, leadership, self-help, spirituality, etc), web contents, magazine articles promotional materials, online games and applications. I’ve also dealt with various clients.
